The Cystic Fibrosis Pharmacy arose out of a lasting friendship between two remarkable women...Lois Adams, a licensed, consulting pharmacist, and Beverley Donelson, a marketing specialist. In 1984, Ms. Donelson's granddaughter was born with cystic fibrosis. Because the family needed help finding the pharmaceuticals their daughter needed, Ms. Donelson confided in Ms. Adams, and they both got to work. In the process, both learned about how cystic fibrosis impacts the lives of entire families throughout the U.S. They knew there had to be a better way for these patients and their families! And so, the Cystic Fibrosis Pharmacy was born.
